Support and Contact Requirements
Please describe which components the mesh will contact and the support function it needs to provide. The choice of mesh structure should account for the available assembly space and the intended contact arrangement.
If an elastic or compressible support is required, include the free thickness, installed thickness and any specified load or recovery requirement. Those requirements should be evaluated with the complete component assembly.
Operating Environment
Share the operating medium, temperature and other relevant conditions. Corrosion behaviour, contact performance and compatibility depend on the material and application. A general material description cannot replace evaluation under the intended service conditions.
