Nickel Knitted Wire Mesh
HuiRui supplies knitted wire mesh made from nickel and other metals. The interlocking-loop structure differs from the warp-and-weft structure of woven mesh. For electrolytic-cell support, the finished shape and the required compression condition should be considered together.
Dimensions and Configuration
Knitted mesh can be discussed as rolls, cut pieces or compressed forms. Please provide the following details so that we can review your requirements:
- Required material and wire diameter
- Finished width and length, or a component drawing
- Free thickness and required installed or compressed thickness
- Single-layer or multi-layer arrangement, where specified
- Edge treatment and any joining requirements
- Quantity and intended application
When compression is important, please include the available assembly gap and any load or recovery requirement. Final suitability needs to be evaluated in the intended assembly.

Material Options
Nickel, stainless steel and copper knitted mesh are available for different applications. Choose the material for the operating medium, temperature and contact requirements. Dimensions or material requirements outside the listed options can be discussed with HuiRui.
Electrolytic-Cell Support Enquiries
For an electrolytic-cell project, please describe where the mesh will sit, how it will contact the surrounding components and the expected operating conditions. These details help distinguish the required support function from other uses of knitted mesh.
For component-level selection, see nickel support mesh. For electrode-substrate enquiries, see nickel mesh for hydrogen production.

Questions Before Ordering
Is knitted mesh the same as woven mesh?
No. Knitted mesh is formed from interlocking loops, while woven mesh uses crossing wires. Please specify the structure required by your design.
Can I request a sample or a custom size?
Yes. Send the material, dimensions and quantity you need. Sample availability, price and lead time will be confirmed with the quotation.
What should I send for a quotation?
A drawing or specification with material, wire diameter, finished dimensions, compression requirements and quantity is a useful starting point. You can also compare other structures in our nickel mesh range.
